We maintain an award winning team which has combined experience spanning many decades. Having team members who have been involved in all aspects of Landscaping constructions sales and marketing you can rest assured you are in good hands for any Landscaping projects.

Stephen Syphers

The CEO and director of Birchwood Landscapes. Stephen has been in the industry since 1987 and been developing and managing projects since the early nineties. He is very passionate about the industry and thrives on being creative and on time with your project.
Stephen completed his horticultural certificate 111 in 1989 and then went onto Burnley and completed a course in horticulture. Recent achievement for Stephen his completion his Certificate IV in Building and Construction Management (Domestic). He is now in the process of completing his License with Building Commission Victoria. Stephen is a member of Landscaping Victoria (previously known as LIAV) and for the last three years has been invited to attend the Melbourne Flower and Garden Show.

Louise - Sales and Marketing Manager

Louise has been a part of the business since 2004. Louise’s role is Commercial Sales, Finance and Sales and marketing Manager. This role has positioned Birchwood Landscapes in the industry with many high profile commercial clients

Anthony – Estimator and Analyst role

Anthony is fully qualified having graduated with a Diploma in turf management. He has been involved with Birchwood Landscapes with the development of construction and design. His previous background in the industry has given him the opportunity to extend his expertise.

Ben, Andrew and Kadir - The Landscapers

Ben is our Team Leader on site; Ben has been in the business for four years. Previously to working with Birchwood Landscapes, Ben was a professional stone layer in the U.K. Ben assists with the management of the daily running of the projects and liaises with Stephen Syphers and the customer. Andrew and Kadir assist Ben, Kadir is a fully qualified carpenter and Andrew is currently completing his apprenticeship. We also work with a panel of Sub Contractors headed by John Stares and Tom Spalding who assist Birchwood Landscapes on most of our projects.

Debbie - Office Manager & Niamh - Office Administrator

Debbie and Niamh are the administration support with over ten year’s experience. They are the first point of contact with new clients and liaise with Stephen and Louise on a day to day basis, ensuring the smooth operation of all business activities.
